It installed well, but

You can also do a 'uname -a' to see which kernel is
being run. Here's what 'uname -a' returns on my
P166MMX machine with a UP 2.2.9 kernel:

Linux weaver.emeraldbiostructures.com 2.2.9 #1 Wed
Jun 2 18:15:17 PDT 1999 i586 unknown

Here's what 'uname -a' returns on my dual PII333
machine with an SMP 2.2.9 kernel:

Linux ripley.emeraldbiostructures.com 2.2.9 #1 SMP
Tue May 25 16:03:15 PDT 1999 i686 unknown

Note the SMP indication for my dual PII333 machine.
Good luck,

Hidong
