Redhat6.0 installation has some problem with RAM >1024MB. I vaguely
remember that over 950+MB RAM you have to do something to get all RAM
recognized. The quick solution for install is at boot prompt give option
below.
boot: linux mem=512MB (anything but <900MB say),
This is just at install time, after you will install Redhat6.0, the
next boot will come up with all memory(i.e 1GB).
I had another system(Compaq SP700 1GB on which I tried above which
worked)
