I don't now if this is the list to ask questiona like this, but since I
don't know I try.
Problem with Dell Optiplex GXpro dual PPro!
I recently installed an addtional processor into my computer with no
luck.
The machine runs for a few hours and then it locks up with kernel panic.
Does anyone know if this system is supposed to work, if so what must be
done to get it working? My configuration of the machine is
I'm running the kernel 2.2.10
Dual PPro 200 MHz 256kb cache stepping 07 (for both)
192 Mb RAM
Bios revision A09
One Adaptec SCSI 2940UW
One 3Com309 ethernet card
I include the dmesg printout and the error from the kernel when get
locked.
The Message from the kernel when hang is:
