  I'm confused, I was under the impression that the SC450NX is not a
  motherboard designation, but a server platform(box + mb + memory card).  I
  don't see anything on the Intel site that gives specs for just the
  motherboard.

The Intel SC450NX is indeed the Sitka/Cabrillo platform.  The motherboard alone
is labelled S450NX.  Intel names many of its server systems with one letter
code named for the motherboard and the second code named for the chassis.
