Matthew,
Upgrade your X software. X 3.3.2 is known to be buggy, and
cause problems. The latest is X 3.3.3.1.
First I would upgrade these libs, then if you still have
problems try emailing this list again. The mouse problem that I
know of people here having is not a lockup but a bizaro
behavior, i.e. your mouse suddenly has its own mind and deso
what it wants and goes where it wants.
