hey screamer did you read the message form Gordon Bobic... he has a good
point... the BIOS is Phoenix on our systems, well at least mine is.. I have
bios 1.0019.AM0... if you need an upgrade for your system I found it on
Intels ftp... along with the eisa config... ( thier stupid form is
broken)...

I remeber seeing something about the mptable right when the error message
came up...  I have also noticed that when I get the error I reboot my system
and I get CMOS checksum bad -- defaults used.. check configuration
utility...

I am going to try the patch for lilo to see if it helps.. if so I will let
you know...

BTW I am using kernel 2.2.5 (redhat version) and I also tried 2.3.10 ( raw
source)
