Hi All--
I realize that this is off-topic for the list, and apologize--but
there's lots of smart people on here, so maybe someone knows the
answer. Please write to me off-list if you can help.

I've inherited a Sager laptop computer with Linux (RedHat 5.2) already
installed; I can't log in because the person who installed Linux on the
machine has left the company, and in fact no one knows just who
installed it.

Is there a way to gain access to the machine without doing a complete
re-install? If necessary, I'm prepared to re-install, but given that
RH5.2 is already installed and running, I'd like to avoid that if
possible.

Thanks, and again, sorry for the off-topic post
Ivan
