How about large memory ?
What kind of memory did the other people have ? I don't have boxes
with more than 256 megs, and I've yet to see the FS corruption stuff.

same here

Every 2.2 kernel ? What problems did you have with 2.2.3 ?
FYI:
I run 2.2.3 on a PIIB-DS (two PII-350) with AIC7890 and two NCR53c810 boards,
two DEC Tulip NICs, 256 MB RAM, a 9G IBM UltraStar 9ES, six 6G Quantum Fireball,
one 3G IDE crap disk. It has a 36 GB Software RAID-5 (spanning the fireballs
and 6G from the IBM), roughly 300 users (only a few of them log in on the machine
though).
This machine is rock solid. And believe me, it gets beaten pretty badly every
now and then, I think it likes it :)
It has been running fluid dynamics simulations and some ray-tracing, along
with the usual SQL / fileserveing / webserving / rasterization stuff over
the past two months.

It went down some time ago because the UPS failed. This machine has not yet
crashed on us with 2.2.3, and it's been running 24x7 with that kernel since march.
At home and at the job I run 2.2.7 on dual boxes too. They are not nearly as
heavily loaded as the box I just described, but I don't see crashes on them
either. However, 2.2.[129] and possibly others have all been really bad
experiences.
