SMP support for Compaq SystemPro type machines?

Hi!

I have a question. Is there Linux SMP support for older Compaq style
multi-processor style machines, a-la SystemPro and ProLiant? I have recently
obtained afew of those old machines and they run NT and UnixWare with Compaq
SystemPro multi-processor support, but Linux point-blank refuses to see the
second CPU. Is there a patch?
