I am looking at biulding a dual PII system. These are the components that
I have come up with. If there are any know problems with linux getting
along with any of these components please let me know.

Motherboard Asus P2B-DS
CPU's PII 450MHZ
Ram 256mb SDRAM PC100 (8ns)
Viedo card Matrox 32mb Milennium G400 AGP
Sound card Sound Blaster 16
Hard drive Western Digital 18.3 gig U2W (4mb)
CD Recordable Yamaha 4x4x16 SCSI CDRW
Iomega Zip drive
Floppy drive Teac 1.44 floppy
Monitor NEC 19" Multisync A900

Right now I have a 10 base 2 network ( I think all the cards are NE2000)
and I don't know if I should stick w/ that or get a different set of
network cards but are there any of those to stay away from?

I am also planning on running vmware, are there any known problems with
smp? I will be running Debian 2.1 linux.

Thank you,

Ivan K. Anderson
