Hi All,
I'm having problems getting a Proliant 5500 to run SMP with
its four Xeon 500 processors. Compiled an SMP 2.2.12 kernel but
although the system bios shows four CPUs, Linux only appears to
see one. I do get the "SMP motherboard not detected message, using
dummy APIC emulation" on boot up and in /proc/cpuinfo only one
chip is mentioned. A uname gives the SMP string. Any ideas? please?
