Hi All,
I have a quad Xeon 500 box. When running a kernel build
with "make dep; time -v make -j4 bzImage modules modules_install"
the build fails with "file not found". This happens for different object
files on different runs. I've used 2.2.12, 2.3.18 and 2.3.18 with Ingos
latest patch and the OS is Slackware-4.0. I've got a hunch that the
problem is in my usage of "make -j" - can anyone confirm that I am
indeed a total bozo?
