Hi all,
I have a SuSE Linux 6.1 with Kernel 2.2.7 on a Tyan Tiger100 SMP with 2 Celeron
300A overclocked @450MHz (should this be considered overclocking?, weren't these
chips designed to operate at 450MHz?).
Suddenly (I'm not sure when it started) I noticed that klogd eats up one cpu
resources up to 99% (alternatively switching from one to the other).
I saw references to a "race condition between syslogd and klogd" in the list
archives but without any subsequent reply.
Has someone any clues ?
Thanx in advance
Max
