Hi,
One of my customers is running Linux as an application server for Interbase
application, on a Compaq server with the hardware RAID.
Since we have installed the server a week ago it has completly frosen twice.
The customer is in the panic mode, and blaming us for
recomending Linux as opposed to NT.
I have spotted a warning about IO-APIC during the boot. Can this cause the
os to freese completely? If yes, please advice on what we can do
to fix it. If not, please direct us as to what els can be a problem.
I've attached a complete boot log to this message. I will appreciate any
help.
Thank you in advance.
