about apic

Thank you for your reply. But can you go a step futher to tell me
what's the functions of ports of apic,for I'm confused by the  macros in 
<src\linux\include\asm-I386\I82489.h>? For example,
APIC_ID,APIC_SPIV,APIC_ESR...?
