Not all board/bios combinations will work with newer, faster chips.
Many 440GX and BX chipset boards are OK with 600 MHz and faster PIII's ONLY if
the bios is upgraded to newest version prior to putting the faster chips on the
board; otherwise post fails and the system is completely dead. Be careful
here, putting a pair of 800 PIII's on "any" dual PIII board could get you into a
lot of trouble.
