Works for me too, on a couple of large machines - Netfinity 5500 and
7000 in particular (2 and 4 way xeons).

Nothing for you I'd guess - I doubt the BP6 has multiple APICs on it. On
large multiway boxes with lots of slots you can have multiple IO APIC
chips allowing an even larger number of irq lines to handle all the IO
cards. The 7000 is like this - it has something like 12 hotplug PCI
slots and 2 IO APICS. I think the two cards I've got in it turn up on
irqs in the mid 30s.
