IM having an issue with trying to boot in SMP. My machine is a dual 166
ppro w/1meg cache and 160 meg ecc ram four 4.1G scsi drives. Mother board
is INTEL w/onboard scsi controller.
The kernel crashes with the message in swapper not syncing. I have the
real time clock enabled and no power management enabled. I have tried
2.2.13.and now 2.2.14 with the same results. It does see both chips. I
have also tried disableing APIC in the bios with no help. I tried adding
the noapic argument to the boot linux prompt which didnt help.
