Actually the first thing I would do is upgrade to 2.2.14. We are running
2.2.14 on ASUS p2b-ds boards. We had some trouble with 2.2.12 that got
much better with 2.2.14. The system is running excpet when under heavy
network load (using a 4port Tulip bases board) the box crashes with a
stack dump that leads to routines inside the interrupt service for the
network card. If the network load is low the beast runs absolutely fast
and stable.
