I guess I stumbled into that solution to the problem.m I downloaded the NJ
and a new copy of QQ. I set up my floppy to load the NJ BIOS. (BTW there was
no difference cmp'ing the new and old QQ downloads.)
Anyway, I stuck the floppy in and it is back working.

Yeah, I would've, but the manual talks about filling out a form and sending
it to the vendor from whom I bought the mobo, but they were no help, and
given the time difference between Taiwan and California, I figured to try for
a little quicker response, and the response was outstanding.
I guess I would like to understand what happened to seemingly trash the system
then get well. I really hate these situations where a system seems to heal
itself . :-)
