Subject: no cont in shutdown!
I just recompiled a kernel on my Dual PPro-200 to enable SMP support. When
I
boot up, after the floppy drive is detected, I get the following message:
no cont in shutdown!
And linux freezes solid. (I can reboot with CTRL-ALT-DEL)
I can boot up with my old kernel fine, and I didn't change anything except
the SMP.
Can anyone tell me what this message means? I am using kernel 2.2.14.
I can't find it anywhere in the kernel docs and I did a search on deja.com
for the phrase and also came up empty.
