Hello,

I have a Supermicro PIIIDM3 i840 w/two PIII-650Mhz and Kernel 2.2.15. When
heavy access to disk is done (two or more processes running and
writing/reading to the disk) the kernel displays "Unexpected IRQ Vector 217
on CPU#1" and after this the SCSI controler hangs reseting the bus on an
endless loop.

I've just installed Kernel 2.3.99-pre8 and seems to work fine. Anyone with
the same problem? Is there any known patch to solve this in stable releases
of the Kernel?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
David Snchez
