While browsing the newsgroups/lists another person has the exact same
problem I do with the same motherboard and adapter.

Has a solution been found for this?

Thanks

I have a Linux server running 2.2.14 kernel patched for Adaptec AIC7xxx
driver version: 5.1.29/3.2.4.
My motherboard is a Supero PIII DM3 with 2 CPU PIII Coppermine at 600Mhz,
with one Adaptec AIC-7892 Ultra 160/m SCSI host adapter Ultra-160/m LVD/SE
Wide Controller.

My server is very loaded, and after 1-2 hours of running I get this error:

I usually end up just hitting the reset switch.

I subscribed to a aic7xxx mailing list and I found people having the same
problem ( with the same kind of motherboard).

Thank you,
Cristian Deacu
