hi there,

Last year I wanted to use ldl and ip_strm together over
ethernet. Then I hit some problems. Basically, gcom
use LiS for their wan protocols and so my setup over
ethernet is not what it was designed for.

I've done a little test using Ldl/ip_strm (forcing it to be an
ethernet). At the moment I've hard coded a MAC address,
looks like I need to put ARP into (ldl/ip_strm).

Then to avoid the dual paths into IP I've used the
iptables to drop packets coming in on the wrong interface.

So far, this seems to work. I can ping a remote host
using the eth0 IP address, and then ping using my streams
        IP address.

Just wanted to check with the group to see if anyone can
spot a problem with this solution?

        thanks again,

andy
