I gathered from the archive that a workaround was in place for the
problems gcc 2.96 caused (consisting of checking the compiler version in
the make scripts). Has a different solution come around since then?
or are there still problems usig gcc-2.96/3.03 to compile streams and
the kernel?
specifically asking about LiS 2.15
