lis_thread_start returns a pid_t. There is now an lis_thread_stop that kills the thread.
Jean-Marc Saffroy contributed some patches for ldl.c that make it thread safe.
Configure script will now fail installation attempts on 2.0.x kernels. It is also now assumed that LiS will build as a module, so there are no longer questions about linking with the kernel, and the like.
Future:
I want to include Brian Bidulock's TLI/Socket code with the LiS distribution. I also want to include the xti library. I will probably designate that version as 2.17 just to have a clean break in the numbering for including those packages.
