Dear Dave,
I've a Sparc 5 machine where I've installed:
+ Debian GNU/Linux 3.0r1 (sparc)
+ LiS 2.16
+ Linux Kernel 2.2.20
When I tried to do a make under /usr/src/LiS, I got a compilation error as follows:
include/sys/LiS/linux-mdep.h (line 74) linux/modversions.h: no such file or directory
For experimentation purposes, I commented out this line and I was able to proceed further in my compilation. However, the linux/modversions.h header file seems to be included not only by the above header file but also by several other source files and for that reason, I hit on the same problem during later phases of the compilation.
I was wondering if this is a known problem with LiS 2.16 and if there is a simple workaround for it.
Thanks in advance for your help. Best regards,
