That is what was wrong with the ".9" distribution.  I botched the creation of this file.  Pick up LiS-2.16.10 (now available).  It has this fixed.  Then you can test what you really want to test.

When I try to 'make' LiS 2.16.9 on Sparc5, compilation fails due to:
 
        sys/LiS/genconf.h: No such file or directory
 
And when I look under 'include/sys/LiS' directory, I don't see 'genconf.h' file there. Am I missing something?
