Sorry for dumb questions...
I have performed some experiment - 

In the my modules.conf I've change the number for my driver like "alias
char-major-239 streams-testdrv"
I have also "alias char-major-230 streams".
Now I creates the node as   230 239 testdrv (means the major num is streams
major number)

Now when trying to open() I receive the "no such file or directory", 
And in the log
        insmod: /lib/modules/2.4.20-8/misc/streams-testdrv.o: couldn't find
the kernel version the module was compiled for
        insmod: /lib/modules/2.4.20-8/misc/streams-testdrv.o: insmod
char-major-239 failed
        kernel: Unable to demand load unconfigured STREAMS device major 239
