I think that you will have to investigate this some more on your own.

Hello Folks -
We are having trouble using the autopush feature in 2.16.4 LiS. This was mentioned before by my colleague, and I now have some interesting information. Here is the LiS configuration information where I specify the autopush requirement:
# Name Prefix module habm abm_
# Name Prefix Major# #Minors driver abm hdlc_ * 256
# driver minor lastminor modules autopush abm -1 0 habm
# Pathname Type Perm Major# Minor# node /dev/abm c * clone-drvr abm
The goal here is if the "abm" driver is specified to be opened, the "hdlc" driver gets opened and the "habm" module gets pushed on to the stream. This has worked fine when we used LiS 2.8. Now that we use LiS 2.16, I have noticed that the "relay2" sample module is being pushed on. I see this due to a printk I have in the relay_open() routine.
Any ideas as to what might be happening, and what more debug I could do? Also, does anyone else use the autopush feature, and if so, what version of LiS? The current webpage information says that autopush is complete but not tested. Is that still the case?
Thanks for any help,
mike
