Hi, I suppose I should mention I'm using the Linux 2.4 kernel with SMP support. I tried Jay's suggestions with the following results shown in the attachment. I did look at the liblug.a that I had compiled and the one Jay sent me with "Archiver" in the KDE desktop. They had the same file titles but Jay's files were all larger. Appreciate your help.
