Hello,
I've just installed Redhat 7.1 and I get "mmap error in paged screen" when
running any program using svgalib. I searched the archives and found out
about compiling it with
#BACKGROUND=y
(which I did, after doing a 'make clean' to remove the previous version).
Configuration:
P166, ATI 3DXpression+ (recognized as Mach64), 4M video, 64M RAM.
svgalib-1.4.1 as installed from Redhat's Powertools CD in the 7.1 distro, no
patches.
Error message:
Using RAGE driver, 4096KB, ChipID:29, MemType:5
svgalib: mmap error in paged screen
Any help is appreciated.
