There seems to already be a bug report #15 in the ftape bug report
data base, but I thought to ask here whether there are any fixes.
I just switched to kernel 2.2.6 (I have Redhat 5.2 based Linux with
the Iomega DITTO Max internal tape drive) and when I now try to
compile the ftape 4.02 drivers with the same configuration as before,
I get:
gcc -Wall -Wstrict-prototypes -O2 -fomit-frame-pointer
-fno-strength-reduce
-DTHE_FTAPE_MAINTAINER=\"[EMAIL PROTECTED]\"
-DCONFIG_FT_PROC_FS -DCONFIG_FT_FDC_BASE_0=0x200
-DCONFIG_FT_FDC_IRQ_0=7 -DCONFIG_FT_FDC_DMA_0=3
-DCONFIG_FT_NR_BUFFERS=3 -DCONFIG_FT_INT_0=1 -DCONFIG_FTAPE_MODULE
-DCONFIG_FT_INTERNAL_MODULE -DCONFIG_FT_TRAKKER_MODULE
-DCONFIG_FT_BPCK_MODULE -DCONFIG_ZFTAPE_MODULE
-DCONFIG_ZFT_COMPRESSOR_MODULE -DMODULE -DMODVERSIONS -include
/usr/src/linux/include/linux/modversions.h -include
../../include/linux/modversions.h -D__KERNEL__ -I. -I../../include
-I/usr/src/linux/include -m486 -malign-loops=2 -malign-jumps=2
-malign-functions=2 -DCPU=686 -c fdc-io.c
fdc-io.c: In function `fdc_interrupt_wait':
fdc-io.c:433: structure has no member named `timeout'

Has anyone found a fix already? I'd like to continue taking
backups... :-)
