Hello,

I've just bought a Ditto Max Pro Tape drive and I am trying to get it
work under Linux. It seems to be supported with the latest version of
Ftape.

The problem is that I cannot compile Ftape (4.02 and 4.03-Pre2). I
always get the following error message during the compilation:

--------------

I am using RedHat 5.2 with the kernel 2.2.6. In the documentation, it is
said that the 2.2 series of the kernel should come with the 4.x version
of Ftape, but it is only the 3.04d version ;-) And as the Ditto Max Pro
is only supported in the latest versions, I need to compile this one.

My Dash EZ card is detected:

Thank you for helping.

Best regards,
