and thanks to Wolf :-) for the help. Still on the problem of reposition. It
always happens in this way:
> ftmt status OK
> tar ... OK
> ftmt rewind OK
with the last command I refresh the driver data structure from memory to
the tape. Because the operation is ok, I guess the Ditto is working fine
(Wolfgang do you have other suggestions ?)
> ftmt eom OK
> tar ... OK
> ftmt status OK
the status is ok, I can see, for example, "file position: 2"
> ftmt rewind NOK
I can hear the tape rewinding, than other small tape movements than ....
AAAARGH !
