I have found this tar.gz, and more recents, in:
http://www.math1.rwth-aachen.de/~heine/ftape/archives/ftape-4.x/unstable
The latest is: ftape-4.x-1999_09_11.tar.gz
Uhm, or should I use better the ftape-4.x-1998_11_28.tar.gz ??
Now I will try to compile it :-(
