Presing arrow down brings cursor up

gnome-do: bazaar rev 537
hardy heron 8.04.1
In some cases pressing the arrow down causes the cursor to go up instead.
Repeating down arrow causes the cursor to cycle between two positions. I
couldn't repeat this situation when running Gnome Do from command line. As soon
as I'm able to do it I'll provide the output.
