I configure it so, that if no frontend is used, the PC shuts down. Everything works well with (K)ubuntu 13.04 and mythtv Version 0.26.0-149-g5f45c0b. I have updated (K)ubuntu from 13.04 to 13.10. Then I updated mythtv from 0.26 to v0.27-56-g29eab5. I also read about users that reported about a problem with EIT scanner, that prevents shutdown.
