Tried to upgrade from MLT5 but received message that it was no longer. Was directed to MLT6, in which I upgraded to, but still the white background screen in Animated Titles in Openshot.
Still, the only Openshot that the Black Background Screen in Animated Titles works in, is Openshot Version Alpha 1.4.1-1 BZR. I am currently running it in Manjaro KDE Ascella 0.8.12 64-bit because the BZR is obtainable from the Yaourt Repository. I did go to the PPA of Openshot and downloaded the TAR file but after installing, found it to be corrupt. It is not fixed. One should be able to install Openshot right out of the Software Center and should not have this problem. But rest assured the fix is not there. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of UBUNTU - AL - BR, which is subscribed to OpenShot Video Editor. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1434859 Title: Openshot 1.4.3 Still Gray Screen Status in OpenShot Video Editor: New Bug description: I am still getting a gray background screen in openshot 1.4.3 when choosing animated titles. When in Animated Titles, and choosing either "Diffuse" or "Fly Towards Camera", The background is still gray instead of being fully Black. This is a real pain. I cannot use Openshot. This does not happen in Openshot 1.4.4 Alpha But I cannot find a download of 1.4.4 Alpha in the repository containers. The person "Jason" has emitted that this bug was indeed fixed, But it is not. This bug has something to do about Openshot not pointing to the "Blender Executable" When in settings for Openshot, Blender is indeed listed as the Executable. Can someone please fix this? I have used Openshot 1.4.1-1 Alpha and 1.4.4 Alpha and I do not have any problems. Openshot is why I use Linux. I use AV Linux and it has 1.4.4 Alpha Openshot without any problems. Please Fix.
