All,

I am currently working on getting some USB 2.0 cards and hubs (PR does have
some advantages :-)
I have some promising leads. I plan to extend this work to seeking some
devices as well. Naturally I plan to distribute this stuff to developers more
capable than myself.
Basically, I am going to ask every USB 2.0 manufacturer and OEM I can find for
devices.
This might result in nothing. But I think it is worth requesting.

However before I get too carried away, I'd like to know three things:
1. What do developers want (and what priority)? Plus suggestions for who else
in the Linux community might be able to be recruited to do USB work?

2. Which manufacturers should I avoid, because others are approaching them?

3. Any suggestions for vendors I should approach beyond those listed in the
USB-IF building block and peripheral vendors lists for USB 2.0?

Again, I may fail totally - some efforts to date have produced no hardware.
But we need to at least raise awareness of Linux USB support amongst
manufacturers, and that alone would justify the effort.

Thanks for any help on this.

Brad
