Hi folks, I'm back in town again. Sorry for the long delay. I hope to be able to react faster for the next upgrade. Please find the driver on http://www.Josef.mynetcologne.de The driver works with 2.4.3 and should work with 2.4.0, but I did not test it. I make 2.4.0 responsible for the loss of two partitions (2GB each) : /home and the a msdos one where I park backup copies of my work until I burn them on CD... Let me metion that this driver is experimental, even if I tested it strongly. The last test is: Boot kernel from USB disk and "make clean dep && make -j8 bzImage modules && make modules_install" in /usr/src/linux Btw, does anybody know about problems with the VIA3038 USB host? It works with WinME, but when I try to boot Linux from the USB disk (via floppy), the disk LED switches on and off nearly once a second (No, this is no disk activity!). Any hints? regards /jr -- Josef Reisinger [EMAIL PROTECTED] _______________________________________________________________________________ Alles unter einem Dach: Informationen, Fun, E-Mails.
