Hi,

I have gone out and bought myself three Keyspan USA-28X adapters,
hoping that they would work with Linux. Unfortunately, it turns out
that what I got is one USA28X A device (and the A is important) and
two USA28X B devices. These devices have different product IDs than
the plain USA28X device:

    Keyspan USA28X A product ID 0x0114
    Keyspan USA28X B product ID 0x0113

Has anyone updated the Linux driver for these devices? As a quick
test, I just modified the product ID in the Linux kernel and managed
to get the USA28X A to work with this driver, but I'm getting garbage
data every now and then, and the USA28X B device won't work at all.
I guess this means that I need a new firmware revision.

Does anybody feel responsible for this driver or should I start
working on it?

  /Christer
