Well, it can't be _all_ iso transfers ... after Paul first reported his issue,
I tried it out on some Phillips speakers and they behaved fine. There
seem to be either driver-specific or hardware-specific aspects to this.
I'm saving up the posted reports, but haven't made time to investigate
this issue.
