Hi all,

With the advent of 3 different kernel trees containing USB code, could
people sending patches please tell me which trees they want me to apply
them to? If you don't specify a tree, I'll pick one :)

Also, do people mind me copying the mailing list when submitting patches
to the main maintainers (Alan, Marcelo, Linus)? Is this useful, or
just unwanted traffic? And would it be a good idea for me to keep these
patches in a ftp location somewhere?

I'm using bitkeeper for my kernel development, as I find it much easier
to handle different kernel versions, and forward porting of patches,
than other version control systems (like cvs.) If you're interested you
can see the changelogs for my trees at the following locations:

My 2.2 tree:

http://www.bitmover.com:8888//tmp/v2_logging/duel.kroah.org/bk-20010505190318-17317-4b2f037a356bda5c

My 2.4 tree:

http://www.bitmover.com:8888//tmp/v2_logging/duel.kroah.org/bk-20010501234602-07015-67da74309554d1e1

My 2.5 tree:

http://www.bitmover.com:8888//tmp/v2_logging/duel.kroah.org/bk-20011125035615-28334-160bd283d279fb69

If people are _really_ interested, I can see about providing read only
access to these trees.

thanks,

greg k-h
