I have an SuSE 6.4(7.0?) based 2.2.16-SMP running on one machine, with some
additional packages. The usbstress-0.3 package (from Thomas Sailer) has given
me the best hints, what's to install/upgrade to get an 2.2.16 kernel and the
new /pro/bus/usb working with usbcore.o.

Perhaps it helps ?

Best regards
