Hi I want to use EHCI-HCD driver for my NEC USB 2.0 PCI card. I chose to use 2.5.12 kernel( I was using 2.4.2) but when I boots 2.5.12 gets stuck at Serial driver version 5.02 (2000-08-09) with MANY_PORTS MULTIPORT SHARE_IRQ SERIAL_PCI ISAPNP enabled Jun 29 17:17:38 shino_korah kernel: ttyS00 at 0x03f8 (irq = 4) is a 16550A Jun 29 17:17:38 shino_korah kernel: ttyS01 at 0x02f8 (irq = 3) is a 16550A
After this nothing happens. My keyboard is frozen too. Am I using a wrong kernel? I have ps/2 mouse.Nothing is connected to my USB 1.1 or my USB 2.0 ports. Any suggestions on which kernel to use or..how I can fix this. Thanks in advance Shino --- "Kristofer T.
