For what it's worth, this behavior is specific to 2.5,uhci-hcd (PIIX4) - ping worked - ssh root@zaurus halted it, seemingly at first TXThe uhci-hcd "dmesg" output was un-informative, as it's been before when I've hit this failure. Just two messages: - "host controller process error, something bad happened" - "host controller halted. very bad"
the 2.4.20-rc1 "uhci" doesn't act this way.
