Hello I've just sent the enclosed email to Roman Weissgaerber - the author of this specific driver, but since the driver has not been updated for a while, I decided to copy the message to the list too, hoping that either Roman, even if he changed his private email address, might still be on the list, or somebody else can help us.

A typical scenario is ftp x dir ... this is usually enough. However some other types of transfer work - put, we can telnet, but ps over telnet also crashes the system... All these problem are perfectly reproducible, but we still can't find the source of the problem. So, the question is: in which state is the driver, how successfully were (or are) you using it, are there newer versions available?
