well, ok but it's work with kernel 2.4... So, will it work a day with 
kernel 2.6 ? (also I'm not sur that iomega does not respect standards 
for mass-storage)
   

People are working on it.  Even Linus Torvalds has gotten involved.  So it 
probably will get fixed fairly soon.
