      I developed a WDM code and Linux user-space device manipulating code for my USB 
device. And my current project is to test the device with Windows application in WINE 
environment. From several comments of yours, I noticed that there is a way to 
communicate between Windows application running on WINE and the application or device 
driver on Linux system, which communicates with the device.

      Where should I start at for the right approach to develop a 'translation layer' 
between WINE and LINUX? Should I recompile WINE after modifying its code, or it's 
enough to change configuration? Any answer would be great help 
      to me. Thanks in advance.
